Suede

I informed Belladonna that I had purchased a multitude of products to care for leather.

"Why are you telling me?" she asked.

"Ummm, for your boots and things" I replied.

"I don't have anything made of leather" she said.

"What about those?" I asked, pointing at two pairs of stylish boots on the top of the shoe rack.

Rolling eyes, "Those are suede" she informed me.

For what it is worth
Farm supply stores are good places to buy leather care products. Look in the area reserved for horses and tack.

A down day
After three days of canning and such, it is time for a break. Today's job is to defrost the freezer. The job is complicated by the fact that the door had been left ajar which created massive amounts of frost. Then somebody left the door even more ajar and the frost melted and refroze. Most of the items are frozen into a monolithic block and the ice extends down, into the wire shelving.

  1. I had the great pleasure of reading seven cows. Yes I did buy it from Amazon. When will the sequel be available for sale?I know I can read it on the blog, but after all the laborer is worthy of his hire.

    1. Thank-you for the kind words.

I am the bottleneck on that. The current picture in my head is that I will roll The Shrewd King into a bundle and mail it off to the editor after the current story arc concludes. The story is getting close to the climax and will probably be finished in less than a month.

I suspect the sequel will be out in four months, give-or-take.

  2. I'm curious as to how she responded once enlightened.
Hope the melting of the miniature glacier has proceeded apace.

  3. A fan and time will cure the freezer. Leave the door open and set a fan blowing into it .

Do you best to make sure the drain can drain, and wait.

(Turn the freezer off first though)
