Billybob suggested this video on husking Black Walnuts
I gave it a try and it would definitely work better if the nuts were stepped on first to break the tough, outer rind of the husk and if I used a "Mud mixing" drill motor.

I also moved the cattle to another paddock this morning. That spun about 90 minutes off the clock. I got 17 days out of about a half-acre of stockpiled tall fescue pasture.
