Fake News Friday: Biden's EPA demands breweries not use CO2
Biden's EPA demands that breweries immediately cease adding the greenhouse-gas CO2 to beer. Environmentalists claim CO2 is a pollutant that poses an existential threat to life on the earth.
Yea some of the CO2 in beer come from the fermentation. Most comes from a tank of CO2 being pumped into a bright tank with the beer to carbonate it. The CO2 in the tank is pulled from the air in the first place.
Food grade CO2 (commercial)is a biproduct of ethanol production (for watering the gasoline). 'Member the CO2 shortage in 2020 iirc. Loess driving =less fuel demand=less ethanol production=less waste CO2 for beverages.
