More death-rates attributed to homicide

Data from CDC Wonder database tool. 2015-2019. Male deaths per 100,000 due to homicide by 5-year bucket and race.

Female deaths per 100,000 due to homicide by 5-year bucket and race. Red circled data-points are to highlight that the most dangerous time to be a female (from the standpoint of homicide) is when you are an infant. Presumably, the most dangerous person is your mom's new boyfriend.

Another thing that surprised me is that the peak death-rates for Black men was 25-to-29 while peak death-rates occurred for Black women in the 35-to-39 bucket. That is older than I expected for the men and MUCH older for the women.

Social Justice Warriors can argue that race-of-perpetrator is skewed due to null-data due to perps who are not caught and due to bias in the criminal justice system. They CANNOT argue with the race of the victims.

If Social Justice Warriors were actually concerned about social justice, they would have a passing twinge of sadness over the 8700 "excess Black deaths" per year due to homicide vis-a-vis the white population.

  1. It doesn't fit the agenda so will be ignored, as usual.

    1. Its a little complicated.

The current system considers Hispanic to be an "ethnicity" rather than a race.

The vast majority of Hispanics identify as "White" even though many Hispanics carry much Native-American genes which is genetically Asian/with lots of Mongolian-like genes. Hispanics from Puerto Rico seem more "blended" in terms of a mix of Black, Native-American and White (listed alphabetically).
