What do you think one of those boys would weigh on the hoof ? In Texas a big'un would go 90-100 pounds. We envy your big deer up north. How many are you allowed to take in a season ?
A year-and-a-half old doe runs about 120. Another year adds about twenty pounds.
On-the-hoof I guess the big bucks run about 200. After field-dressing most will run 160-170. The pile of guts look like more than 40 pounds but lungs are fluffy.
And buck that weighs 200 after field-dressing is a monster.
