People with old trucks always have something to blog about


I inadvertently knocked the end of the shifter cable off the transmission when changing the oil today.

Great excitement. I was parked in Mrs ERJ's spot.

Of course I tore the dash apart first.

It turns out there is a slider on the cable end that is supposed to lock the cable end onto the ball joint on the linkage lever.

    My project is a 91 F150. And yes, it too always has something to blog about. The voltage regulator is currently the issue. It is ready to go out and I have the replacement, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
