There are going to be a lot of people with sore muscles tomorrow. "Wintergreen" (methyl salicylate) will be the fragrance of choice for most of these competitors.
Based on the tattoos, bumper stickers and tee-shirts, this crowd runs strongly toward patriots. At least on the west side of Michigan.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful paint job. Panel fit was a little rough. I like the styling of the late-60s Toronados better. They were sister vehicles in terms of platform.

ReplyDeletePaint job might not last as long as the car has, if he keeps parking like that. I think this is a '66, the first year they had retracting headlights - I wonder why these are out in the 'open' position. I seem to remember seeing a lot of those driving with 'one eye open', so to speak. It was all the rage on certain models, both GM and Ford, in those years.
