September and October are my favorite months



  1. Yep, that's the first 'break' we usually get in the heat out here!

  2. It all depends on where you are located. In SE Alaska, September and October brought the rain (and snow). Here in Montana, we're finally getting a break in the high temps - but September still has a high risk of wildland fires and we often have snow before the end of October. Makes for a short "autumn". September and October in my youth in SW Michigan were indeed glorious - with squirrel, rabbit and pheasant hunting. And it was definitely apple season!
