Don't count your chickens...yet

  1. Just FYI. "Benford's Law" is not about the distribution of a data set, it's all about the distribution of the numerical count itself within a dataset, and how that numerical count should distribute its "first digit".

    "Benford's law, also called the Newcomb–Benford law, the law of anomalous numbers, or the first-digit law, is an observation about the frequency distribution of leading digits in many real-life sets of numerical data."

      I eliminated the content but left the post standing as a "blank". It is good have a permanent record of mistakes. It keeps me humble.
