  1. Yeah, I will say thats one reason I keep coming back here. Its great to be able to have differing viewpoints discuss their merits without devolving into something ugly.

  2. I'm a little concerned. Is "read" in the present or past tense? Because "took" is definitely past. Please don't tell me you are signing off.

  3. You beat me to it, are you signing off Eaton?

Galatians 6: 9 Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith.…

Your blog is a bright spot in an often dark and stormy internet.

    1. I am not signing off. I am not sure Mrs ERJ could stand to have me under-foot any more than I already am.

I merely wanted to share my appreciation that my readers are comfortable "calling me out" when they think I have my head in the wrong place. God knows I have been wrong many times in the past.

Regarding voting: The best possible outcome is for many, many conservative voters to make sounds like they are not going to vote but then the old war-horses hear the bugles and gunshots and still trot off to electoral war. That may be how Trump got into office. The Democrats were unprepared for the margin-of-cheat required to jam her-pukeworthiness Felonious von Pantsuit into the POTUS position.

From a logical standpoint, why would the Dems even bother to campaign (example Biden) if voting/elections really didn't matter? They are busy raising funds and engaging in funny business? Why would they put out the effort unless is a Pavlovian response they just cannot shake?

My take is that it is analogous to the saying "Pray like it all depends on God and work like it all depends on you." It doesn't cost much to vote and I don't really see a downside unless RINO pet-rocks get elected.

  6. My pleasure, Joe. Thank YOU.
The suggested head fake in voting is not a bad idea.
