I must be getting old. These things annoy me.

News item: Speedboat slams into two brothers riding on inflatable boat.

Odd that the speedboat reputed to have slammed into the inflatable boat did not have its motor in the water and did not have a wake.

Oh, and the inflatable boat was towed by a THIRD boat and the video clearly shows it slewing outside the wake.

Any rational reader with a scintilla of physics training would conclude that the inflatable boat hit the stationary "speedboat" because the driver of the boat towing the inflatable boat was an idiot.

Angling to be a "victim" is not solely an American preoccupation.
