Seasons of life

Kubota turned 22 and is coming to the realization that living outside the parental house offers certain "freedoms" that are valued by young men.

The seasons turn. Buds mature, open and and then petals fall away all in their own season.

It will be OK if Kubota decides the freedoms of sleeping on a buddy's couch outweigh the conveniences of eating and sleeping in our house.

All things in their season.

  3. There was a time when my son was living in a friend's walk in closet. It didn't last long and his next flop wasn't much nicer, but he was free and on his own dime.
And years later, the lessons he learned the hard way are paying big dividends.

  4. Son, I expect you to do what is best for YOU. I have opinions on that, that I will share with you if you ask. I may not like the decisions that you make, but I will do my darnedest to respect them.

I will always love you and be here for you. And please, son, call me on the landline every once in a while (Ize so old fashioned I do not have a *smart* phone anymore).

  5. It will take time, but Bella will meet her someone. That's what we keep telling ourselves about our son, and we're sticking to it.
