Since Hollywood is into "edgy" all about remakes

Dare they put a remake of All in the Family on the big screen?  Or is a 1974 small screen sitcom too edgy?

  1. They wouldn't dare. Instead of chuckling at the fact both are bigots, like we did. Everyone now would be crying and wring their hands over how 'racist' Archie is and how Jefferson behavior is because he is a victim of 'white privilege'.

Blazing Saddles couldn't be produced today either, because it pokes all the same buttons as All in the Family. Hollyweird, Academia and society as a whole have lost the ability to laugh at themselves, as well as their minds.
