Plans for the day

I have bulk water storage outside but I drain it during the winter. These barrels will be in the basement.

Harvest time is a busy time.

Everybody knows that Alaska can be found north of Saskatoon
Sometime this morning, Shotgun and I are making a road-trip through Alaska. Then we are picking up some barrels to use for water storage.

After that, I have a date with Belladonna. Mrs ERJ and I are attempting to get into the habit of a once-a-month lunch-date with her. I want to do that with each of the local kids but it has not gelled.

After that, it is back home to finish canning tomatoes.

Other plans include making a list of fruit trees to order this winter. I found a place that has a 25 tree minimum for wholesale prices. The seller graciously allows mix-and-match to make up the 25 trees and does not require the buyer to purchase by-the-bundle. A tree costs about $15 at wholesale while a boutique seller might charge $60. I may ask some local friends if they want to add to the order to pad it out to 25 trees.

  3. Everybody knows that Alaska located in the Door County Peninsula of Wisconsin. LMAO Now I wonder how many Alaska's there are. Time to break out google Earth. I've already tracked down how many Springfield's there are. Somebody crazier than me plotted out a coast to coast road trip visiting all of them. There are a couple other cities I tracked down. Can't remember off the top of my head. Too many memory issues.
Nice barrels. I'm trying to talk my son into a rain water catchment system next spring.

  4. Sankt Johann is the most common place name here. There are roughly 20 in Austria alone.

  6. ERJ, I never quite managed to find the "have lunch with the child" rhythm either. Coffee seemed to work a bit better.
