Suppose riots are Made-for-TV Spectaculars

If riots are made-for-TV spectacles, then one would expect the biggest ones to occur on Saturday nights since Sunday is still the biggest day for TV viewing.

Friday is called "Where news goes to die". If you want to announce something that you hope is soon forgotten you announce it on Friday at 3:00 in the afternoon.

Useful information? Marginally. If you MUST go to town then Thursday is your best bet and Saturday evening is your worst if you want to avoid spicy-times.

  1. I could say something here about justifiable use of force and lament the current state of police and local government, but that wouldn't be right or kind would it? I mean, saying that the second group of bottle-throwers wouldn't have gotten a chance to throw anything because they should have been lit up by all three of those guys would just be bloodthirsty and show that my testosterone is what does my thinking for me, right? And third-degree burns over 30 percent of my body is a small price to pay for knowing that I didn't kill one of those peaceful protesters. That would make it worthwhile, right?

  2. Agree with Scott. 5.56 tends to 'stop' that threat...

  3. Molotov cocktails are wepons of mass destruction.

Lasers are being used as gun aiming devices and higher wattage lasers are being used to blind humans.

Self defense is a human right.

I WILL return fire if I see either in use at riot.

    Kyle R did good work.
