A Primer on Primers

I was reading the comments at Joel's blog The Ultimate Answer to Kings and somebody mentioned a site which educates people on how to reload Boxer primers.

Down the rabbit hole I went.

Scanning microscope image of diatomaceous earth.

So many choices. Incidentally, if I were to pick a recipe that used ground nitrocellulose and ground glass, I do believe I would use Win PB (or Vectan GM-3) as either would be easy to grind and I would look at using diatomaceous earth instead of ground glass.

    1. Bummer.

My next choice would probably be the fastest burning flake powders: E3, Bullseye, or maybe Hodgdon Titewad
