A cheap, sturdy, stylish dog-dish

We did not put the dogs in a kennel when we traveled this past weekend.  For one thing, our go-to person is no longer in the kennel business.

Our watering system is plenty big enough to keep the dogs hydrated for half a week.  The issue was how to handle the food.

After thinking about it a bit, I laid an empty dog food bag on the ground to minimize the food wicking up moisture.  Then, I raided my stash of collectable cinder blocks (much more durable than Beanie Babies) and repurposed them for the duration of our trip.

Problem handled.
