Biden's handlers are touting Biden's "scandal free" first year in office.
Oddly, his performance looks slightly different from my perspective.
Biden's bumbling attempts to mimic an Alpha-male rate right up there with Jimmy Carter's Iran hostage situation. No allies will ever trust us again. Hundreds, maybe thousands of Americans were abandoned to the Taliban as well as hundreds-of-thousands of Afghani natives who assisted as interpreters, cooks, mechanics, truck drivers and so on.
The media buried memory like a cat buries turds in the sand box.
East Lansing, Michigan has rowdier tailgate parties during football season and nobody gets tossed into solitary confinement and denied bail. Not even the U-of-M fans.
How is depriving U.S. citizens of their rights enumerated in the 4th and 5th Amendments not scandalous?

Maybe "Scandal free" means something different in Washington D.C.
It it doesn't make the evening news, it never happened.

DeleteAll part and parcel in the propaganda game. They are setting the space, establishing the rules. If you don't dispute this lie, (and every other of the millions they tell), then it is allowed to be treated as a fact. Further lies are built on top of said lie, which is pointed to as proof of the first one being true:
The events of Jan 6th were an insurrection and threat to our Democracy (Lie #1)
Participants are treasonous criminals and must be made examples of (Lie #2)
Neither 1 or 2 are true, however since 1 is never disputed/refuted, 2 can be piled upon.
Coming soon will be standing soldiers in the capital (complete with fencing!) to 'defend our Democracy'... because nobody stood up to the BS that is this Jan 6th probe into peaceful redress of our 'elected' representatives.
They shot guns, not the protesters.
... All built upon Lie #1 allowing to stand without being challenged.
You can see the difference with the 'election fraud' issue - that lie was not allowed to stand, it IS being challenged. And they're shitting their pants over it. Their machinations taking place NOW, are aimed at securing and cementing the election lie, as their position of power rests completely on 'the most secure election in history, of the most popular pResident ever'.

ERJ, I saw this and guffawed to myself. This qualifies as scandal free only if one picks and chooses their scandals.

ReplyDeleteI cannot get the image of the 2021 inauguration out of my mind. Does nobody remember it? There weren't very many pictures of it broadcast at the time. What is particularly disturbing is the willingness of the supposedly opposition media to refuse showing any of these disgraceful images at all. A small gaggle of people sitting apart on a huge expanse of lawn with no crowd, just the Capital building, and high-security fences, and troops. The disgrace is a stain on our Constitution. And yet - the opposition media has really done very little to articulate and broadcast that shameful, cowardly outrage. And now, here we are, fixing to have a one-year anniversary saturation-bombing broadcast of the 'terrible insurrection uprising' of 2021, all over again.
