Never underestimate the hype.... she's neither particularly attractive nor talented. And most of her "songs are paens to her constant turnover in the "significant other" department.
I disagree with Dan. My daughters always have her songs playing in the car and Taylor Swift has some really good songs. Not stuff I'd listen to but songs I appreciate lyrically. And she's fairly attractive not that I care much about that at my age.

Any reasonably healthy woman is attractive. That is how men are wired. Then after being with one about four years we see beyond the false tinsel and focus on the genuine tinsel.
I've often thought the same thing. If a woman is at a healthy weight, that automatically makes her physically attractive. We're wired for that "shape".
Some years back, a dietician recommended to me that if I was unable to turn down the burger to avoid carbs, then order the burger with standard patty and veggies but get the buns with 'junior sized' portion. The patty edges stuck out beyond the bread and the brain was tricked into thinking you were getting the full sized burger without the 'Bad Stuff'. Worth thinking about if you are looking to eat more healthy portions.
I've eaten the lettuce wrapped burger (no buns) - not very satisfactory to me.
Would one of you all feed that girl a sandwich? One of my greatest fears is TS covers an Aretha Franklin song and I'll have to deafen myself rather than hear it.

And genuine tinsel wins, hands down, in my opinion.

'No Buns' means no pickle, either.

I'm ordering the Taylor Swift next time. Can't wait to see the face when I explain what it is.
ReplyDeleteWho is "Taylor Swift"?
