There is a man in the Ivy League competing in Women's swimming this year.
He is crushing the women he is competing against. This is not a big surprise.
As an Engineer who graduated in Mechanical Engineering about a million years ago, I want to point out a few things that popped into my mind.
Sailing ships
A ship hull that is not planing on the surface generates bow and stern waves.
They create a valley that the ship is sailing within and the nature of fluid dynamics is such that the longer the water-line the faster the ship can sail before that valley becomes a limiting factor.
Velocity(max) in knots = 1.34 * SQRT(length in feet). A human who is 6'-4" will have a "max velocity" that is 11% faster than a human who is 5'-2" tall |
Men, in general, grow to be taller post-puberty than women. Taller swimmers will have an inherently faster "max speed" due to fluid dynamics.
VO2Max
VO2 Max is the rate that your body can absorb oxygen from the air normalized by your body-weight.

From a humorous and chauvinistic perspective, this is proof that men can do everything better than women, including being women.
ReplyDeleteFrom a more rational and serious perspective, having trans-men in women's sports is ridiculous, ignorant of biological reality and likely the end of women's sports, at least insofar as they were designed to let women compete on a level playing field or swimming pool.
I, for one, do not want to pass a seven pound baby through my penis. I concede women are far superior with regard to non-Caesarian deliveries.
DeleteClearly we're both insufficiently woke. After all, Facebook et al now has a male pregnancy emoji, which apparently stands for the woke proposition that men can be pregnant and must be able to do so in splendid fashion.
DeleteI will pass on pregnancy but have no objection to you giving it a try.
DeleteMay I be there at delivery and take video?
Did Pete Bttegieg have a cesarian?
DeleteThere you go with those pesky facts again...
ReplyDeleteERJ: men CAN "fail" a pregnancy test.
ReplyDeleteIf his gonadal cancer is secreting HCG, he will register as "pregnant"
In more sane times, such a man would be hustled off to urology/oncology RFQ.
I for one encourage it, I love it!!!!
ReplyDeleteSun Tzu teaches us to never interfere when an enemy is destroying itself.
Think about it... One of the 'challenges' we (you and me) face dealing with them (you know who), is their willingness to suspend all reality and previously proven scientific beliefs because, 'feelings'. You want to pretend you're a cat? Sure thing, Mittens!
Of course the physical realities of the world will make using a litterbox difficult for this individual, but no matter, Mittens has spoken!
So let biological men compete against womyn in the name of diversity, or whatever asinine emotion is drifting in the air that day. When they complain, remind them who's world we're living in, and walk away, do nothing, let them wallow in their own ignorance and imcompetence to the point the whole affair is a pointless charade.
It only degrades them further. You simply cannot deny the realities of physics anymore than Bruce Jenners balls. Suggesting otherwise proves for all to see you're an idiot.
The NCAA, as the governing body overseeing this farce, has disgraced itself by corrupting its purpose in holding up the highest standards of amateur sportsmanship. I myself remain amazed that these young men, who are low-middling performers amongst their original cohort, have not been given personal corrective actions by fathers who have had to deal with the fallout from their own daughters, not to mention the damage to their investment in the well-being of said daughters and in the development of their fullest potential as athletes.
ReplyDeleteBut the most amazing thing, really incredible when you think about it, is the deafening silence everywhere from the feminists. What happened, Ms. ladies? Have you become selective about which women whose pursuit of fair play you defend? Or should we simply conclude that you have thrown in the towel and abandoned your cause because you've finally realized that men really are superior in every way?
