Must be that new math

As many as 9,000 American citizens were left in Afghanistan when the U.S. military withdrew from the country Aug. 31, according to a report released Thursday by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

In public statements, Biden administration officials, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken, claimed that only 100-150 Americans remained in Afghanistan...

  1. I've read that there were, and are, other rescue attempts happening very quietly. Peter at BRM has alluded to some of them.

  2. This event alone should be grounds for impeachment and a host of court-martials at the Pentagon among the O-7 to O-10 crowd. The only reason the latter hasn't happened is that the Leftist powers that be don't want the former to happen, because ... Kamala.

  3. Who ARE these unfortunate? Did they notice NOTHING as the whole misadventure screened toward the cliff?

    1. Trump stated May of 2022 as the withdrawal date.

Anybody with a brain knew he would pull it forward to have most people pulled out by March. He would not advertise it. Then, he would kick out the last few tent poles by mid-April.

Biden accelerated the plan precipitously and there were no attempts at misinformation.

So there was very little time to assess the situation. A three DAY gap in keeping a finger on the pulse was the difference between escaping with the clothes on your back and being 100 km behind the lines.
