All of Eaton County got eight or more inches of rain in the last 24 hours. That is a quarter of our annual average.
The blessing is that it came over 24 hours. The other blessing is that we just came out of a dry, dry summer and the soil was able to sponge up much of that rain. There is not much pavement out where I live.
