I was able to see some of her originals at an exhibit at Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, NY. Her use of color is outstanding. So subtle and strong at the same time.
My dad worked as a lineman in northern New Mexico in the 40s after WWII bringing power to new customers. He once talked about bringing in the first power lines to an 'artist lady who had a Rolls Royce set up as a pickup truck'... Yup, Dad wired up Georgia O'Keefe.
Yay! One of my fav (and few!) American artists! Thanks.
