A sample of what is going under the hammer on Monday:

Many, many more at the auction site. Just the thing to buy as a present for a young boy in a woke family. Either that or a set of drums and bag-pipes.

  1. Why did I just get a whiff of cap smell?

  3. Cap guns. OMG ! As a boy, my friends and I spent countless wonderful days playing Army or Cops & Robbers with cap guns. There was never a better toy invented for high energy young boys. The actual crack! sound and the smell of the gunpowder was the best thing short of actual real guns and bullets. There were even life size hand grenades that you could load with caps.

Those were the days. Today, such toys are not even made anymore. All part of the intentional pussificatoon of American males, starting from a very early age. Also part of the intentional instilling of fear and dislike of guns in American boys, again starting from an early age.

    1. Oh yeah! My friends and I discovered somehow that if you soaked the paper caps in gasoline and let them dry, they made a nice louder pop! than usual. Remember when there were the paper cap guns but then you had the high-end cap guns that had little red plastic caps? If I was rich (meaning had about $2 in change) I'd go to Woolworth's and buy some caps
