ReplyDeleteThe comment has not aged well. And minor incursions have a way of becoming major incursions. A green light over there can easily be taken as a green light anywhere.
In 1964 I joined The Young Republicans to work for Barry Goldwater and worked for him quite hard. It became apparent that Romney was working to sabotage Goldwater and he lost the support of the Goldwater voting Republicans. I don't know when being a traitor started in the Romney family but it seems to be durable. I still have my Goldwater and Miller button that I wore when passing out his literature on the streets in town.--ken

DeleteYep, I too was a Goldwater guy- not 21 and too young to vote! I still wear Goldwater buttons to GOP functions and demand a recount of the '64 election. Shook his hand several years later (haven't washed it since).Just think of what would have happened if he had won!
