Joking?

"(You) know what is not a problem for kids who are seeking a good education? Drag queens," Nessel said during a speech that primarily focused on education...

"Drag queens are entertainment," she said. "And you know what I'll say that was totally not poll tested, I'd say this, 'A drag queen for every school.'"

Drag queens would lift kids up when they're having "emotional issues," the (Michigan) Democratic attorney general said.

This has been characterized or diminished in the press as "joking".

It takes a special type of scum-bag to "joke" about mental/emotional health issues in kids. It is an even lower kind of scum-bag who would use the challenges of those kids, and their parents, to advance a pet political cause.

According to the CDC, 99 Michigan kids between ages 4-and-19 commit suicide each year. Maybe Nessel should get in a room with the grieving parents and explain why her "joke" was funny.

Where is the outrage? Even if we accept the editorializing or "spin" at face value...suggesting that "drag queens" are an acceptable substitute for professional help is beyond irresponsible.

  2. Where is the outrage? Controlled and internalized for eruption at an appropriate time... like an out of control wild fire all the while taking down names....

  4. NOW! THIS! DEMONRAT! THIS ONE doesn't drop and cover behind the nonsensical "I'm not a biologist/not a psychologist" idiocy. Naw, instead, she metaphorically says, "Let's roll with it", and, Bluto Blutarski like, steamrolls her way into complete narcissistic jaw dropping fucktardation.

    Nice one, dana. Nicely done.

That ought to be featured in Republican campaign ads until the heat death of the universe.

  5. The only emotional issues my kid has is when he runs out of ammo for the day.
