Don't piss on my pant-leg and tell me it is raining

From the Daily Mail

I recognize that it is callous to get all autistic and object to technical errors in reports on mass-shootings, but the gun-haters are dancing in the blood as they push their agenda.

***Correction, Sharp-eyed reader "B" pointed out in the comments that the Kel-Tec was the back-up gun. Post will remain for historical reasons.***

The "assault rifle" used in the Nashville Christian school shooting was a Kel-tec 2000 that used 9mm handgun cartridges. Long-guns chambered in traditional, pistol cartridges are often called Pistol Cartridge Carbines or PCCs. 9mm bullets gain little if any velocity by being fired in longer barrels so the "survivability" vis-a-vis a handgun is a moot point.

Why would anybody chamber a long-gun in a pistol cartridge if it does not increase it lethal capability? Because it is quieter then when shot from a handgun and because it is easier to shoot more accurately.

Or, if one were following a pre-written script and needed a stage-prop.

  1. But...but... according to our dear president, a 9mm will "blow a lung out", so a 9mm carbine would even be more "un survivable"

  3. Black Rifle - check. Chambered in round that blows out lungs - check. Blaming weapon rather than the individual using it to kill innocents - check. Adding that children are doomed if struck by bullets fired by such an instrument - check.

Their work is all done here. Now on to the show ...

  4. I am so utterly tired of the usual (leftist, always leftist) suspects dancing in the blood of innocents for profit (ideological, monetary, or both).

Notice how it is always ‘diversity’ hires (be they women or minorities) who do so too?

To an extent, I can understand ‘some’ issues medical professionals have with firearms. Confirmation bias, the fact they never see anything ‘but’ the victims (where even a gang-banger appears blameless if you [choose to] never know the history), ensures the pre-conceived ideologies of the hard of thinking are confirmed daily. The fact that they (deliberately and intentionally) refuse to consider those either not/protected from being shot, or saved by someone else with a gun, that most of the ‘innocents’ … weren’t, and that the only reason they aren’t drowning in other victims is because of ‘good guys’ with guns too … seems to (conveniently) escape them (whilst, of course, insisting and being protected ‘themselves’ with guns).

It’s Gell-Mann Amnesia on steroids. The one thing the covid farce ‘should’ have taught us all is … almost all doctors are fallible, naive, corrupt, not particularly smart, ideologically driven and (totally) mercenary and weren’t just willing to, but ‘did’ lie about … everything. So? Why in the blue-blazes would you believe anything any of them say about anything else?

[I find pointing out to certain 'activists' the real reason 'she' used a 9mm was "because as a woman, with a woman's physique she was unable to handle anything more powerful" (yes, I know woman regularly can, and do, manage, but 'they' don't) the one 'enjoyable' aspect of the tragedy. Does this make me a bad person?]

  5. Not to be picky but unlike the 40 cal and 45 ACP the 9mm actually in the 16 inch barrel of the Keltec Carbine gains almost 50% more foot pounds compared to a typical3.5 inch pistol barrel per Ballistics by the inch and other sites.

The ease of aim and lower perceived noise by the user is also well known.

  6. This was indeed a pre-written script that used the correct props to support "The Narrative"(tm).

    9mm "Blow-your-lungs-out" ammunition. Check.
    Evil AR-14 Black Rifle. Check.
    Semi-automatic pistol. Check.
Red Hat (Similar to MAGA hat). Check.
    Camo pants. Check.
    Crazy manifesto? Check.

Bonus: several other weapons back at her house. "An arsenal". Too much to carry with her, no doubt.

Not bad for an amateur, improvising from a very toxic indoctrination. And no direct contact from any handler was required. It is all spread by social contagion.

The problem is that these windup toys may go off and detonate early, or at least, the timing is hard to control.

Yes, I am convinced that there are sponsors who intentionally cultivate and direct these people. They plant the seeds, water and fertilize the field, and wait for harvest time.

We are seeing the harvest time with every one of these incidents.

    1. Just wait until the middle-eastern/afghan/turdworld wind up toys start detonating. Ought to be a real barrel of monkeys.

  7. EBRs, even if she used the PCC... sigh... Scripts is right.

  8. During supposed pandemic and earlier, saying was "If you see something. Say something". In prelude to many recent tragic shootings, several people knew about future shooters weapons and mental state, but failed to speak or act. Courts seem to hand out wrist slaps despite do-gooder lawmakers best attempts.

The phrase should be "If you see something, do something"!

  9. Her secondary rifle was the Kel-Tec, her first used was indeed an AR-15, and I believe it was .223/5.56. In this, I believe you were wrong. The Kel-Tec is slung in all videos I saw.

    1. "The investigation shows that Hale fired a total of 152 rounds (126 5.56 rifle rounds and 26 nine millimeter rounds)"

      Correction accepted.

  10. Just saw that on the round count, interesting. Haven't seen if our goblin was wearing ear pro, but shooting 5.56 in a hallway is *painful*.
To the point though, military has been using 9mm in personal defense weapons, and 5.56 for everyone else. They have complained mightily for decades that neither round is acceptable for lethality.

  11. PCC = Pistol Caliber Carbine

  12. No muffs, but she could have easily had plugs in. And you're right, 5.56 indoors, particularly from a shortish barrel is Painful.

  13. Sure be curious to *KNOW* just how many long gun shootings these surgeons have actually, in person, seen.

From my experience in Da City (EMS and ER nurse), *MY* wager, is few to none, since most assailants employ handguns.

Rather difficult to conceal, and rapidly produce, any sort of shoulder arm, such as a AR. Therefore, my guess is that this shooting by the Nashville A**hole (cursed be it's name) is an outlier on several layers.
