To-Do list

Top off cattle water tanks. Highs in the 90s tomorrow and Monday.  Done

Till gardens. I may have to remove a set of tines to squeeze between the spreading plants. Done. Started raining when there were still three rows to finish.

After tilling, install feedlot panels for tomato vines to scramble up. Done 2:45

Plant Chinese Cabbage seeds in flats. Done 7:30 only planted Winter Crisp, a 90 day maturity cultivar

Mow grass.

Mow garden plot where Chinese Cabbage will be transplanted. Come back later and spray cut weeds with glyphosate. Done 6:45

Air-layer seedless grape that thrived with no attention so I can move a copy into the "serious" vineyard. Note: Spray glyphosate AFTER propagating grapes. Done 1:45

Cut weeds in orchard/vineyard. Half done, started raining again.

Remove V. riparia in row of Swenson Red. Cut stems with pruning shears and pull out after the leaves dry up. Done

Pull new trailer (!!!) out of weeds and fill tires with air. Look for grease zerks at wheel bearings. Assess rust damage. Remove scrap out of the back of the trailer. The seller was serious when he said "as is". The wood is shot. The wiring is toast. The sidewalls of the tires are cracked. Some of the steel is rusted through.

Realistically, I will be lucky if I can get Mrs ERJ to finish a third of those tasks. She should appreciate that I am going to give her Sunday and Monday off.

---Pro-tip: If your spouse keeps roto-tilling to beat the storm and gets sprinkled on, don't point out that her hair is a mess. She will figure that out quickly enough if you put a mirror on the door of your beer refrigerator.

If you do happen to mention it, it is not a big deal. The swelling will subside in three or four days and your depth perception should return to normal.---
