Shameless Brown-Nosing of our President-Elect

Trumpet Vine 'Madame Galen'
Picture from Monrovia Nursery
As discussed in earlier blog posts, I intend to make extensive use of vines to create cover for deer.

One vine that merits special mention is Trumpet Vine.

Trumpet Vine "Flamenco"
Trumpet vine (Campsis radicans), also known as trumpet creeper (by Democrats), is an aggressive invasive vigorous perennial vine that shows robust growth even under adverse conditions.

It is a great source of nectar for hummers (aka, humming birds).

It produces showy flowers over an extended period.  This is a vine that shouts, "LOOK AT ME!!!"

The flowers tend to orange, gold and red.

Personally, I think Michelle's vegetable garden is toast.
