Are coyotes (Canis latrans) Eagles football fans?

The local coyotes are yodeling their hearts out. I walked in the orchard about 45 minutes before sunset and they were singing.

I put a couple of outgoing letters in our mail-box just now and they were still tearing it up.

Either they are either watching the Superb Owl or it is breeding season.
