I took my 16 year old daughter to a sports camp in Tiffin, Ohio yesterday. It is a "thrower's camp". She will learn how to critique video footage taken of her throws and learn drills or techniques to make adjustments to correct style issues. She will also get exposed to javelin and hammer throwing.
Tiffin, Ohio is serious farm country. They had a lot of rain. Many of the soybean fields showed evidence of flooding.
I got caught in a downburst by the Cabela's in Dundee, Michigan on the way back. No, I was strong and did not go in....although I pulled off the freeway and took M-50 west. That is a pretty drive if you like Irish Hills type scenery.
In the spirit of my retiree cash-flow, we took lunch from home. My daughter was a real trooper. I think she is starting to understand. She was good with a banana and a PB and J sandwich.
She had one request, that I post a picture of her baby every day.
I just wish she had not given him that book of stencils and the can of spray paint.
Good to see she understands that dogs are people too.

DeleteThanks for reading and taking the time to post.
She said that she enjoys camp. She also said that I better be treating her baby right.
