If it saves one life...

We should ban all motors from school property.

In a typical year 900 children die in pedestrian/parking lot accidents and 5,000 are injured severely enough to require hospitalization while 50,000 are injured severely enough to trigger "reporting".

It is irrelevant that users have a license.  Motors only exist for one reason, to make things move fast and with little effort (i.e., no feedback).  Motorized vehicles and devices are inherently dangerous.  An analysis of the metadata reveals that the vast majority of the pediatric pedestrian accidents occurred when the impacting vehicle was moving.

Therefore we should outlaw all motors from school property.

It is for the children.
