Pray without ceasing. Test everything. Keep what is good. Avoid all evil. -1 Thess 5:17,21,22
I've uploaded to my photoblog a shot of the table beside my chair in the living room. Full disclosure: I definitely straightened the stack(s) of books before taking the photo! Only one novel in the bunch, the rest of the books reflect my mindset at the moment :-) https://alissasandersonphoto.wordpress.com/
Apologies for the slow reply. Looks like you are getting ready for some good eating (and sipping).
I'm not showing a photo of MY reading table - the top of the toilet tank 8>!Contents will be, though: Several beef sire semen catalogs, a couple of beef seedstock production sale catalogs, an issue or two each of Shorthorn Country, Progressive Farmer, Outdoor Life, Field & Stream, a Lewis Grizzard compilation, and probably an Uncle John's Bathroom Reader...
It is a well known, true fact (as opposed to a 'politically expedient fact') that ideas and information are incompressible. The act of pushing more ideas into one's heads requires the displacement of something. This is most sanitarily achieved when one makes accommodations prior to adding more information. Otherwise, one's brain fights the addition of information for fear of a humiliating accident. The only other place for information to go, if one cannot void, is to increase the girth in the vicinity below the chest.Incidentally, the local Burger King is advertising an "AI Burger" on their marque. They know what it means but leave it up 'cause it makes folks laugh and talk about the restaurant.
