Sometimes it sucks to raise animals. Losing one to a predator is one of the suckiest parts.

| Potato patch after tilling. Many of the taller weeds are milkweed. I have a weakness for milkweed. In my eyes, not all weeds are created equal. Milkweed makes a pretty fair pot-herb and is the larval food for Monarch butterflies. The flowers smell delightful. |
