Cabbage and the food of the gods


About 400 persimmon seedlings in my sawdust pile. I estimate there are two seedlings for every square inch

What they look like after being dug up and having the roots washed to separate them.

  1. We just harvested our first cabbage of the year today. Also pulled some broccoli,turnips,and cauliflower. Tomorrow green and wax beans, but only enough for a meal as they are just starting to produce.

    1. Life is good when you can eat out of the garden.
