A question from a reader

  1. I don't know what Scotch eggs are. In any case, if you consume them while sipping good Scotch whiskey, that would be one thing. But if you mix them into good Scotch whiskey, that would be alcohol abuse.

    1. Scotch eggs are hardboiled eggs (with the shells removed) that are wrapped in breakfast sausage. Sometimes they are breaded and deep-fat fried. Other times they are baked.

They are the kind of food you can take into a mine or the deep timber and they will sustain you all day.

  2. People need to get back to work!
    Idle hands!
    There is mischief afoot.

  3. Our ducks and chickens are pumping them out as of late. This looks like a worthy food experiment. Thanks for the introduction

  4. Ps, it’s snowed three times this month, I need me some global warming asap

  5. My niece pointed out that I was making this way too complicated.

She suggested that I put the eggs beneath the bottle of whisky and let nature take its course.

I asked her if she thought it would work.

She said she knew it would work. Every time she put Scotch Eggs beneath the whisky bottle, they were hatched and gone by the next morning.
