Getting the last word

Our two German Shepherds are one-and-a-half years old and three-and-a-half years old.  In people years that makes one a teenager and the other a young adult.

Not surprisingly, they both fixate on "having the last word."

In the doggie world, having the last word involves covering up the previous visitor's pizzle with your own.

For logistical reasons, we have two doors that we let the dogs out.  I should name one door "Facebook" and the other door "Twitter".

In-and-out.  In-and-out.  Both dogs.  One after the other, after the other, after the other.  Until they cans squeeze out nothing but dust.  No wonder these dogs drink like camels.

The Boston Terrier hides.  The German Shepherds don't even wait for him to stop before they remark where he has been (is).  Picture in your head:  A tree, a Boston Terrier sprinkling the tree and a German Shepherd sprinkling the Boston Terrier and the tree.

Every morning and every evening is like this.
