Trace Elements (Repost)

A continuation on the theme of iodine deficiency.  In this case, it is about other trace elements.

The soil content of a trace element has an influence on the level of that element in foods grown in that soil.  Another factor that influences the level of trace elements in foods relates to interactions with other soil elements.  Elements can bind together and become less available to roots.
