Note to self

Three rows of hybrid poplar planted between the house and the road.

The row closest to the house is DN-170.

The two rows closest to the road are DN-177.

Eaton County is three-to-five days behind in GDD accumulation compared to the average. Northern Michigan is fourteen or more days behind.

Currently at about 420 Growing Degree Days-b50 and Black Locust are approaching full blossom. Iris and Rugosa Roses have also started blooming and the RR smells divine.

Vitis riparia and Orchard Grass will be pollinating next. Orchard Grass pollen is my Kryptonite.
