| I chose the Plano 3540-10 plastic Stowaway box to secure the bolt when carrying my tools in a hard-case. It has three-buckles and is very secure. I had to carve out a bit of the length-wise dividers for the bolt handle. |

Pelican, and their much cheaper cousins at Harbor Freight, also have some appropriately sized storage for machine parts like bolts. I tend to keep my bolts (and nuts) where they are secured in position, ensuring a proper connection if needed.
