No! They're perfect, as long as you have at least a healthy 350 in that '67. In 1970 (USAF days), I had an economy 1966, black on black, GTO, with a 4bbl, 326, three on the tree, no button radio and what must have been a 375-390 gear ratio, posi, rear end. One of 13. Too bad I totaled it. Then, in '96, the wife and I bought a '68, goat, white on white, 400, 4 speed, convertible. Had fun with it for a couple years, then a Navy, fighter pilot (friend of a friend, I gave him a thrilling ride) talked us out of it for (we thought) too much money, it became obvious he wanted it more than we did by his upping the offers until we let him have it. He had big plans for restoring it. Now my hot rod is an '86, 5 speed, Toyota, long bed, 1 ton Hilux, with rear BFG Mud Terrains, FUEL INJECTION, POWER STEERING and POWER DISC BRAKES!! YEAH MAN!!! EATCHER HEART OUT!... Woah...sorry there, the adrenalin got to flowin' and I kind lost it a little bit there. Yeah, uh, sorry...carry on, I'll show myself out (wiping off the spittle and shaking my head).
Yes!!!

Not at all. As long as they are just Up to the Task of planting the available horsepower to the ground and not False Advertising,, they are right.
