Recipe cites .3 PM and VO but directions note .4 each. Please clarify.
According to the handy-dandy spreadsheet I used to figure the proportions, the 1-0.7-0.3-0.3 recipe is closer to the commercial product than the 1-0.7-0.4-0.4
1-0.7-0.3-0.3 calculated versus the target (commercial product0 1-0.7-0.4-0.4 calculated vs. target
The difference is not very significant and if you found the 1-0.7-0.4-0.4 more palatable I don't think there is any harm in the modification.
One point worth making is that those are percents of protein, carbs and fat and not percent of CALORIES from protein, carbs and fat. As percents of calories, they pencil out to 10% of Calories from Protein, 35% from Carbs and 55% from Fats for the 1-0.7-0.3-0.3 formulation.
