Putting a Black Lives Matter sign in your window or a Gay Pride flag in your yard will not save you when things get sporky. People are crazy and it doesn't matter what color they are.
Lansing is a plain-Jane, mid-Western town of no particular distinction. The murder happened approximately a half mile north of where I grew up.

This does not bode well for Halloween trick-or-treaters.
Let me guess. What ethnicity is the shooter? How long is the rap sheet for the shooter? The fact they don't tell us generally tells us.
