Spring sprung in Eaton Rapids

Eaton Rapids Joe officially calls "spring sprung" in the biological sense as-of yesterday.

The catkins on the pussy willow are cracked and showing white.

The buds on the Rosa rugosa are green and extending.

The Viola odorata on the south side of ERJ manor are blooming.

The spring peepers Hyla crucifer are singing their hearts out in hopes of attracting a lady.  Little bodies, big voices.
