Squirrel trap: 2.0

The layout. A single row of sharpened, 4d (1-1/2") finishing nails. Units are millimeters.


The picket fence.


A suitable enclosure. In this case half of a 5-liter wine box. The hole in the foreground is the hole that was in the top of the box to facilitate carrying. The hole was widened slightly.

The squirrel's-eye view of the trap in the box.

A piece of firewood or board propped on top of the box anchors it sufficiently.
