Responsible adults

"Responsible" implies that one has the ability to effectively respond to situations that might arise.

If the general environment changes, then it stands to reason that a responsible adult will change their outlook on life and the tools they carry with them.

Otherwise, they will find themselves without the tools required to respond to novel situations in an effective manner.

Change requires moral courage. If you live in an echo chamber and it seems as if all of your peers are clamoring "Gasoline engines are bad!" and "Firearms are bad!" and "Self-reliance is bad!" then it takes sand to walk in a different direction.

God gave us brains and eyes and ears. I assume He intends that we should use them.

When circumstances change (and that, death and taxes are the only guarantees) and we do not change and adapt to the new environment, then we are not only irresponsible, but we are cowards.

  2. Ah, Based Stickman ! I wonder what's become of him. Less opportunities to crack Antifa noggins these days, and that's good. It's good to know that he, and hundreds of thousands more like him, are still out there.

  4. I did 40 years in southwest FL and I'll never go back after moving from there 16 years ago.
Looks like my new home of Hoosierville lost a few folks, but that's nearly enough as far as I'm concerned. Until today I hadn't been in a city since 2019 and I was climbing the walls within 15 mins of being there. ALL THOSE PEOPLE! OMG the traffic. How in the world do people live like that? They weren't living, they were scrambling to stay alive and crushing everyone in their path. Let em burn...
