No joy on the brake pedal position sensor.
I got it installed. Pulling out the seat made the job doable.
While the seat was out, I greased the track with diffy-lube and now it is a breeze to slide back-and-forth.
However, the new part did not fix the problem.
Time to spend some money and have a pro look into it.
I have been through three of those switches on one occasion. That was on a 95 Chev. C1500 PU. Finally got one that worked.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least you can tell him what 'didn't' work...
ReplyDeleteHate it when that happens.
ReplyDeleteMy bad, I thought your vehicle had a conventional brake lite switch. A brake pedal position sensor usually has to be calibrated with a Tech2 or similar device. The emergency flashers and turn signals lite the rear blubs? Allan
