I don't have time...

"I don't have time to exercise or garden or cook a healthy meal or read a book or learn a new skill or find a better job or wash the dishes or study for a test...."

Really?

  1. I confess that I probably spend too much time sitting in front of my computer but I'm tired of sitting in front of the window watching it snow.---ken

  2. ERJ, I was asking myself this same sort of question this week - not that I spend excessive video time (I am the low end of the spectrum, maybe one movie every four weeks - but on things like trying to catch up on world events and blogs. I cannot impact world events; I can only impact the events directly around me.

I am reminded that those who accomplish a great deal are always about a great deal.

  3. I spend too much time on the computer, but most of it is reading and researching and the such. I often have movies on in the background that I listen to or have Old Time Radio on. Also listen to podcasts.

  5. I was cruising the book section in goodwill because I refuse to pay $30 for a book, support bozos, or go to Karen central--the library, so I buy cheap books...anyway, this guy says hardly anyone reads today and I made the same comment that while I do internet surf, read blogs, I don't rely on it for 100% of my "free " time entertainment. and I cook meals from scratch, garden 1/4 acre, raise beef and chickens and have horses.

  6. You can make money or you can watch video's but you can't do both. I prefer to make money. Be plenty of time for watching when I get old. I'm only 67 now.
