One of the difficulties in reloading for 16 gauge is that some of the components are hard to come-by. The Hodgdon site says that Winchester 572 is "available" so you can either purchase it on-line or your local shop can order it for you.
16s have fallen out of favor, sadly... Getting parts/pieces for anything in that caliber is 'hard' right now.
ReplyDeleteI think 16 gauge is still relatively popular in Europe. It may have something to do with the difficulty in purchasing new firearms so they hang onto the one that Grandpa or Great Grandpa used and hide it in the roof-rafters. They do what then need to to keep it shooting.
