Pro-Palestinian activists demonstrate their support for Hamas by decapitating peonies in one of University of Michigan's botanical gardens.
That makes "Plant a Peony for Israel" a no-brainer if you feel a need to virtue signal your support for Israel. A bit like the roses that were heralds for the House of Lancaster (Red Rose) and the House York (White Rose) in England or the Fleur-de-lis (Iris) for France, Quebec and Louisiana State University.
Greta Constipated
Miss "Carbon is killing the earth" Greta is "sailing" at 6 knots on becalmed seas and into a head-wind to deliver "symbolic" aid to the people of Gaza.

Methinks the vessel is using her "iron spinnaker" to make forward progress.
I care so little for what happens between palestine and israel they don't have a word for it.
ReplyDeleteNot my f'ing desert, not my f'ing problem. They've been fighting over it for over 2000 years?!?! Not. My. F'ing. Problem.
2000 years? Try over FIVE THOUSAND years!
DeletePretty sure you’re both retarded…..when was Islam started again?
Delete
Delete"Not my f'ing desert, not my f'ing problem" might not be a defensible position if either side decides to make it your problem. Attacking people is usually decided unilaterally. The target is rarely consulted.
I'm pretty sure that folks were fighting each other in that area long before Islam was a religion.
DeleteBut it is a truism that folks will attack you without you being consulted. Islam isn't the religion of peace unless you count becoming a Muslim or dead peaceful.
If you doubt that ponder current England and the other once "christian nations" that have allowed Islam to thrive.
The only reason the muslims attack the US is our politicians incestuous love of all things jewish! If we stopped sending missiles and bombs to israel, they would stop attacking americans.
DeleteAnon@6:21 - you forget we Americans are mostly infidels and only worthy of death or enslavement. We are their enemy until we embrace islam, and will still be their enemy if we don't embrace *their* version, and will *still* be their enemy because we aren't part of their tribe or clan...

DeleteThey don't seem to be blowing up the Japanese, or Indians, or Swiss? Are they not kefir as well? Why don't they suicide-bomb their embassies? Because they don't send money and bombs to the people genociding them!!!!
You've been programmed your whole life to love the jew, you can't even see it.
I'm NO friend of either side in the fight, and thats my point. Its an israeli and arab problem, not an American problem. We need to STAY OUT OF IT!
AMERICAN SOLDIERS SHOULD NOT BE DYING FOR ANY FOREIGN COUNTRY! PERIOD! THATS WHAT NOT OUR F'ING PROBLEM MEANS!
Let the jews and arabs kill themselves over a jewish-arabic problem.
IDGAF!!! Stop swnding our men and women to die in foreign lands in the name of another sovereign nation. Let THEIR men and women die for THEIR fight. And when they're all dead the fighting will stop.
Regarding Islamic terrorism in Japan: At 0.28%, followers of Islam are one of the smallest minorities in Japan. Japan is VERY strict about who they let visit and even stricter about who they let reside in Japan.
DeleteRegarding India: They have an ass-load of Islamic terrorism. It simply doesn't get reported in US media or gets lumped in with "tension with Pakistan".
The only apples-to-apples comparison involves Switzerland. They are heavily armed and are NOT a member of the EU so do not have to kiss Brussel's ass with regards to immigration.
A fairer comparison would be US to Britain and US to France...and they are both boiling over with Islamic violence against the native, white population.
So your argument is founded on a cherry-picked comparison and even that, in the case of India, sucks.
Gee... Look at all the ALUMINUM on that sailboat. Look at all the PLASTIC. Even if the boat's hull was made of WOOD, it didn't become a part of the hull without a BUNCH of dinosaur squeezin's being burned. Fact is, if not for petroleum Greta would be floating on a log... naked... Shit... I can't unsee that...
ReplyDeleteAw jeez - get control of yourself Pete! You’re frightening the other retards and making them cry!!!
DeleteSob!
Pete, that's my argument about the Elcano challenge. The challenge is to circumnavigate the globe while 'carbon free'. It is ridiculous, but many sailors and greenies are excited to consider it possible.
DeleteThe enormous use of electricity and petroleum products to build the boat, let alone the solar system and batteries to navigate are ignored.
When are they done, Joe? Up here… our Alberta roses are coming up on done. The season passes so fast…
ReplyDeleteDo you think Greta's position is that no one should ever produce any carbon emissions under any circumstances? Are you suggesting she’s a hypocrite for traveling by boat that may use some gas power?
ReplyDeleteI think Greta's position is that anything that gets her in the limelight is good. Anything that turns the camera away from her is bad.
DeleteShe is a hypocrite if you believe she (and her handlers) are innocent angels motivated solely to save Mother Earth.
She is not a hypocrite if we both (wink, wink) accept that her version of reality has no more fidelity than old Westerns (like the Lone Ranger) resembled the real westward expansion of the United States or Harry Potter resembles an English boarding school.
How dare you.
DeleteHer original position was exactly that; that older generations are destroying the world and better cut way back on energy consumption.
But she's a moron, a hypocrite, and a puppet. She, more likely her handlers, have figured out how to capitalize on that.
A few years back she hopped on a sailing catamaran to cross the Atlantic 'while carbon free'. Predictably, it was a bust. Due to light winds and unfavorable wind direction, they motored most of the passage.
Incidentally, the owners of that boat were popular top earners with a YT channel. Something like $500k annually. Their earnings significantly decreased as people saw through the ruse and the hypocrisy. Their tally hasn't recovered.
Who cares? I know I don't... agree with Pete too!
